In this game you will have to select a square on the grid and use the mouse to aim your shot at one of the squares on the bottom edge of the grid, but be careful because if your shot collides with another boat on the middle or bottom of the grid your ships magnetic beam will be affected and will not be able to return! The ships magnetic properties are all different in every model and you will find that sometimes your boats return to their launch position when they have been hit by other boats; not very often however. The Ricochet Xtreme game has excellent graphics, professional sound and has many options to test your skills.
This game has several settings that you can choose from, first is the random seed option, then there are several levels of difficulty to increase the challenge, next is the race option which makes the game more interesting, it lets you play against computer generated racers, and finally there is the level select which lets you select the level you want to play on, it really gives you the freedom to choose the level and how challenging it will be for you. The controls are simple and straightforward, all you have to do is click your mouse and place your brick in a certain square on the grid to launch it. The bricks fall down one by one, but be careful, falling off the screen is not a common occurrence, but still it happens and you need to be careful. If you are using a powerful processor like the Quad core i7 this may take awhile, about 10 minutes or so, on lower specifications it may take much longer. If you want to speed it up a bit you can try a higher processor or try to install software that enhances the capabilities of your laptop's memory, like an application called Rapid Ballistics.
Overall, Ricochet Xtreme Brick Attack is an excellent download and is definitely a game you can get addicted to. It provides you with hours of pure entertainment as you attempt to destroy all opponents while staying on the moving board. The game play is challenging from start to finish and the different stages are fun and exciting. I hope you have had fun with this breakout download.
